Robert Kiyosaki has written many books regarding becoming an entrepreneur. His books have inspired me to become my own boss. I was tired of struggling financially and working so hard for someone else. I made a great income, but having 3 kids in daycare, well, a lot of my paycheck was gone. Plus, I never really saw my kids much. I really enjoy working, but I wanted to not only be my own boss, but also be around for my children.

The book, “Why We Want You To Be Rich” by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump is a book that I have recently read. This book really outlines the importance of not relaying on government programs to secure your financial future, but that you need to take control of it. It is very important that everyone focuses on self-development. Network marketing was discussed as it teaches a lot of self-development.

To take control of your financial future, you must become your own boss. This may sound like a huge headache and if you decide to open a franchise, it is a headache. Network marketing is a great alternative. It requires a minimum investment and it doesn’t come with most of the stress that you would have with a regular franchise.

Toward the end of the book, I was happy to read that Robert Kiyosaki recommends network marketing for those that want to change from an employee to an entrepreneur. He says, that in network marketing it is easy to get the necessary skills and training to be successful, but you need to find a company that has a great training program. He recommends focusing less on the products and compensation plan and more on personal development program the company offers.

Very few companies have a proven system in place to allow the new entrepreneur to hit the ground running, instead of having build a new system. So he recommends finding a network marking company that already has a system in place. Most people start a network marketing business while still working a fulltime job. This would make their time to devote to a new business limited. So, ideally, getting involved with a company that helps the new entrepreneur build their business would be ideal.

I hear so many people complaining of their financial situation, but don’t do anything to change it. It will not change on its own. You take action and work if you wish for it to change. If you partner up with the right opportunity, your whole life will change.
